‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ Goes Past $400M Globally

Marvel fans have assembled and helped the last movie of Phase 4, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, to outshine. Especially at the box office, fans all around the world helped MCU to thrive.

The latest movie made several headlines because of an “Ironheart” cameo and the speculation about who the new Black Panther will be. Let’s not forget about Rihanna almost trading her music career for being a beauty mogul. Marvel surprised fans by bringing in the Queen herself to sing the lead single of the movie.

This was monumental as it comes after her long hiatus in music ever since 2016. As for the movie, it received positive reviews about the movie, and Ryan Coogler’s direction also received immense praise. Even the action sequences, the costume design and production, and the performances by the cast were heavily appreciated.

But the concrete foundation of the movie was its tributes to Chadwick Boseman, which is what touched the hearts of people. However, the plot and the runtime of the movie were criticized. But yet the film received over $400M globally.

As per reports, the sequel was launched in North America last weekend for about 181 million dollars. It also became the second-biggest box office debut of 2022 after the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.


Fans were speculating if the movie will be successful and make some numbers because of the sudden passing of Chadwick Boseman. But the fans of the movie remained loyal to it and showed up in theatres. Domestically, the sequel is expected to do over 70 million dollars.
