BTS Sets More Than One Record As “Dynamite” Becomes Fastest K-Pop Group MV To Hit 1.4 Billion Views

BTS has just made history by setting more than one new record on YouTube!

On February 24 at approximately 7:30 p.m. KST, BTS’s music video for their smash hit “Dynamite” surpassed 1.4 billion views in record time. The song was originally released on August 21, 2020 at 1 p.m. KST, meaning that it took just over one year, six months, and three days to reach the milestone.

“Dynamite” is now the fastest K-pop group music video ever to hit 1.4 billion views, breaking the previous record of two years, five months, and seven days set by BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU.”

BTS is also now the only Korean artist to surpass 1.4 billion views with three different music videos: the group recently hit the 1.4 billion mark with both “Boy With Luv” and “DNA.”
