A Little Daytime Drama Plot
Maggie (Jen Lilley) is the head writer for a soapy daytime drama about to be canceled due to low ratings. The show’s creator and producer, Alice (Linda Dano), wishes to step down and pass the torch to Maggie. Alice intends to bring back fan-favorite actor Darin (Ryan Paevey), who also happens to be Maggie’s ex-boyfriend, to boost ratings and save the show. When Darin left the show to star in a tragic play, their relationship ended sourly, so Maggie wrote out his character. Darin must now be persuaded to return. Will they be able to put their differences aside and collaborate to save the show and their careers?
