Fans were disappointed with how the limited series, WandaVision ended. Marvel noticed this and is trying to take their opinions into consideration. Back in October of last year, Marvel revealed that a WandaVision spin-off series revolving around Agatha Harkness was in development.
Kathryn Hahn is reported to come back as the title character while Jac Schaeffer is writing and executive producing the series. The studios then revealed that the series might release in the fifth phase of the MCU. Kevin Feige, however, broke the news that the spin-off will release in Winter 2023.
The name of the series was also changed from Agatha: House of Harkness to Agatha: Coven of Chaos. As per new reports, Aubrey Plaza is said to join Kathryn in the spin-off series. However, there has been no information regarding the plot or the character Aubrey will be playing.
Plaza was seen in the HBO series, The White Lotus, and fans are thrilled to see her come into the MCU. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the series will be the 25th in line with other Marvel shows. This will also be the eighth installment of Phase 5. Naturally, the series will be produced by Marvel and will premiere on Disney+.
Agatha is especially famous for the very catchy “Agatha All Along” track. She is a witch from Salem and also a fan-favorite. After the news of the spin-off series of Agatha came to light, fans could not hold their excitement. Especially after hearing the news of Aubrey joining the cast, fans have completely lost it.
