Genshin Impact: Rainbow Rose Locations and Farming Routes

Genshin Impact

Genshin Impact, an action role-playing game developed and published by miHoYo, initially debuted in 2020 for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, and Windows platforms. Subsequent releases include PlayStation 5 in 2021, with plans for a Nintendo Switch release. The game boasts an expansive open-world environment with an anime-style aesthetic and features dynamic combat mechanics centered around elemental magic and character-switching. Genshin Impact follows a free-to-play model with gacha game mechanics and is continuously expanded through patches in the games-as-a-service framework.

Set in the fantastical realm of Teyvat, Genshin Impact introduces players to a universe comprising seven distinct nations, each aligned with a unique elemental power and governed by a distinct deity. The narrative centers on The Traveler, an otherworldly explorer who becomes separated from their twin sibling upon arrival in Teyvat. The Traveler embarks on an epic journey through the various nations of Teyvat, accompanied by the enigmatic Paimon. Along the way, they form bonds with diverse characters, engage in the affairs of the nations, and endeavor to unveil the land’s enigmatic secrets.

The inception of Genshin Impact traces back to 2017, drawing inspiration from various sources such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, anime aesthetics, Gnosticism, and a rich tapestry of global cultures and mythologies. Reception for the game has been largely positive, with critics praising its intricate combat mechanics and its captivating open-world environment.

However, there has been some critique directed at its relatively straightforward endgame content and the monetization model rooted in gacha mechanics. Remarkably, Genshin Impact has achieved substantial financial success, amassing an estimated revenue of nearly $3.6 billion as of September 2022 across all platforms. This exceptional figure highlights its position as the video game with the highest-ever launch revenue within its first year.

Genshin Impact: Rainbow Rose Locations and Farming Routes

To attain the ultimate Ascension stage, each character necessitates the acquisition of 168 units of a specific local specialty. However, in the case of the Genshin Impact character Lyney, gathering this quantity of Rainbow Roses proves quite demanding. With only 73 Rainbow Roses scattered across five distinct regions, multiple farming sessions are indispensable to accumulate the required amount. Notably, Rainbow Roses regenerate every 48 hours. For players inclined to expedite the Ascension process, venturing into other players’ realms becomes a viable option to swiftly progress Lyney’s Ascension journey.

Northeast of The Romaritime Harbor

A significant cluster of Rainbow Roses can be found to the northeast of the Romaritime Harbor, which serves as the initial destination for players upon arriving in Fontaine. Within this area, three primary spots are teeming with 16 of these local specialties in Genshin Impact:

  • Journey to the Waypoint situated to the north of the Denouement of Sin Domain. From there, proceed eastward to amass a total of seven Rainbow Roses.
  • Head southeast and take a leap into the water. Swim eastward to reach a solitary island that harbors four Rainbow Roses.
  • Reaching the third location presents a bit of a challenge due to the absence of nearby waypoints. You can opt to dive into the ocean and continue swimming northward until you reach the Belleau Region. From there, ascend the northern mountain to discover five Rainbow Roses. Alternatively, you can employ the Teleport Waypoint at the West Slope of Mont Automnequi and then proceed south on foot.

South of Elynas

As Travelers venture through the southern expanse of Elynas, they will come across a total of 11 Rainbow Roses. To efficiently gather these blossoms in Genshin Impact, it’s advisable to utilize the Statue of the Seven as a teleportation point. Commence your journey by heading southwest from the statue, where six of these flowers await. Continuing northward, an additional three Rainbow Roses can be spotted. To secure the last two of these exquisite flowers, follow the dirt path leading to the west.

Northwest of The Court of Fontaine

Starting from the western waypoint of the Court of Fontaine in Genshin Impact, players have the opportunity to venture northward and gather a total of 10 Rainbow Roses dispersed throughout the vicinity. Furthermore, for those who choose to fast-travel to another Waypoint situated to the north of the aforementioned location, an additional 15 Rainbow Roses can be found within the village area.

Southeast of The Court of Fontaine

Positioned slightly southeast of the Court of Fontaine, players can descend from the station onto the grassy terrain below. By encircling the platform, they can procure a total of seven Rainbow Roses.

Fountain of Lucine and Marcotte Station

Adjacent to the Opera House, travelers will discover the Fountain of Lucine and Marcotte Station. These two stations collectively house a total of 14 Rainbow Roses. To begin, utilize the Fountain of Lucine Waypoint. While there, explore the round perimeters on both sides, where players will find a gratifying harvest of nine Rainbow Roses. Subsequently, make your way to the Marcotte Station Teleport Waypoint. In this vicinity, gather five Rainbow Roses that adorn the surroundings.

Genshin Impact Gameplay

“Genshin Impact” offers an expansive open-world experience with dynamic gameplay elements and a rich character-driven narrative. Players can control a roster of interchangeable characters within their party, utilizing their unique abilities and skills to navigate challenges and engage in thrilling combat scenarios. As players progress, characters’ abilities can be enhanced through leveling up and equipping artifacts and weapons, contributing to diverse tactical options during battles.

The game world, known as Teyvat, is replete with exploration opportunities, offering various challenges and rewards. Players can confront formidable bosses and undertake tasks using a currency named Original Resin, which gradually regenerates. Completing these challenges boosts Adventure Rank, unlocking new quests and increasing the World Level—a metric determining enemy strength and rewards rarity.

Movement mechanics include running, climbing, swimming, and gliding, all constrained by stamina. Some characters possess environment-altering skills, such as freezing water to create pathways. Teleportation nodes and Statues of The Seven enable efficient travel and provide vital benefits. Crafting is vital, with items like food and ore gathered to enhance character strength. Special battle instances named “Domains” yield materials for character and weapon progression.

Multiplayer co-op mode allows up to four players to explore the world and engage in Domains together, fostering collaborative gameplay across platforms. The character roster expands through quest completion, time-limited events, and the gacha system, “Wishes.” Elements, including Anemo, Geo, Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, Electro, and Dendro, interact in dynamic combat, producing varied effects. Each character wields an Elemental Skill and an Elemental Burst, necessitating elemental energy accumulation for their activation. Overall, “Genshin Impact” captivates players with its interplay of exploration, combat, and character development, all woven into an enchanting world driven by elemental interactions and strategic gameplay.
