Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon Achieves 4th Highest 1st-Week Sales Of Any Female Soloist In Hanteo History With “INVU”

Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon is soaring to new heights with her latest album!

Last week, Taeyeon made her highly-anticipated return with her third full-length album “INVU” and its title track of the same name.

On February 21, Hanteo Chart announced that the album sold an impressive total of 142,019 copies in the first week of its release (February 14 to 20), marking a new personal record for Taeyeon. (Taeyeon’s previous first-week sales record, set by her 2019 album “Purpose,” was 132,818.)

Notably, “INVU” also achieved the fourth-highest first-week sales of any album by a female soloist in Hanteo history—bested only by BLACKPINK‘s Lisa‘s “LALISA,” BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s “R,” and IU‘s “LILAC.”

Congratulations to Taeyeon!
