Ironheart Series Confirmed To Be A Sequel To Black Panther: Wakanda Forever

Marvel Phase 4 is all about bringing in some new characters and expanding the MCU. Since the beginning of the phase, a lot of characters were introduced alongside the existing characters of the MCU. Phase 4 is now coming to an end with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever being the last movie.

Black Panther 2 will arrive in theatres on November 11th, 2022. Many new characters are introduced in this film as well like Dominique Thorne (Riri Williams), Tenoch Huerta (Namor) & Michaela Corl. Marvel has already announced that Dominique Thorne’s character will be getting her own standalone series.

Her character Riri Williams will debut in the Black Panther 2 film. There will be a connection between the movie and Ironheart series, according to the producer. Let’s get to know how the series and film will connect.

Ironheart Series Connection To Black Panther 2

In conversation with Cinema Blend, producer of Black Panther 2 Nate Moore spoke about how the Ironheart series will connect to the film. He says, “So the show is a direct sequel to the movie and Riri Williams is carrying the experiences she had in this movie back home to MIT. “

Further, he adds, “And there are some interesting repercussions to her adventures that will set her on a fun course.” According to the comics Riri Williams is inspired by Tony Stark’s Iron Man and also builds a more advanced suit for herself. She is also an MIT genius, following the footsteps of the MCU’s beloved character Iron man.
