Julia Garner plays the leading role of Inventing Anna, is an American-Israeli actress. She is best known for her character Ruth Langmore in Netflix’s crime drama series Ozark 2017, for which she won two Emmy Awards for her Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2019 and 2020, respectively.

In reality, Anna Sorokin has no trust fund. Finally, she ended up in jail for conning people with her lies.

In June 2018, Netflix and Shondaland bought the New York article ‘How Anna Delvey Tricked New York’s Party People,’ written by Jessica Pressler. Soon after owning the article, both parties decide to turn this article into a Television series with Shonda Rhimes, a writer and producer, and Betsy Beers. At the same time, the series will be directed by David Frankel.
