Jimmy Fallon and Jennifer Lopez have been pals for years, and now they’re co-authors on a book!
‘Con Pollo: A Bilingual Playtime Adventure,’ a new bilingual children’s book written by the Marry Me actress, 52, and the late-night talk show host, 47.
“I’m so excited to launch my first children’s book and it’s even more special to collaborate with Jimmy!” Lopez says
She and Fallon had long wanted to do something together, according to the Late Night host.
“One of the many things I love about her is how great of a mom she is,” Fallon says .
As parents, we decided that a children’s book would be the ideal match for our project.
When I tell my Spanish instructors from high school that I’m teaching youngsters to speak Spanish alongside Jennifer Lopez, they will be amazed.
With the aid of a “plucky chicken named Pollo.” the book, drawn by Andrea Campos and published by Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group brand Feiwel & Friends, is a funny read that also serves as an introduction to Spanish language.
“Do you want to publish a book with Jimmy Fallon and Jennifer Lopez? Or publicar un libro con Pollo? All of the above,” In an interview Feiwel and Friends Senior Vice President and Publishing Director, Jean Feiwel said.
Feiwel chimes in: “This book is about friendship and sweetness and all about learning a little Spanish. The combined talents of Jimmy Fallon and Jennifer Lopez’s storey as presented by new artist, Andrea Campos, are just MAGIC!”
As a New York Times best-selling author of True Love, J Lo has also released Con Pollo, her first children’s book.
Fallon, on the other hand, is a seasoned children’s book author, having written four No. 1 New York Times bestsellers: Your Baby’s First Words Will Be Dada, Everything Is Mama, This Is Baby, and Five More Sleeps ‘Til Christmas.
Feiwel and Friends is also publishing his fifth children’s book, Nana Loves You More, which will be released in March of this year.
