Jungkook of BTS Becomes The “Fastest K-pop Soloist” To Cross 4M Followers On Spotify

Jungkook, a talented singer from the world-famous K-pop group BTS, keeps setting new records even though he has only released two solo songs credit to his profile on the music streaming platform Spotify.

The two songs are – the Charlie Puth collaboration “Left And Right” from three months ago and the song “Stay Alive” from seven months ago.

In just 234 days, Jungkook has became the fastest Asian, Korean, and K-pop solo act to reach the 4 million follower mark on his Spotify account.

It is beyond amazing what BTS’s Jungkook accomplished with just two songs to his credit and no official solo debut. 

In addition, Jungkook is the only K-Pop solo artist to surpass 4 million Spotify followers in less than 2.5 years.

Here is a list of K-pop soloists that got 4 million Spotify followers the fastest. As we all know, Jungkook is at the top of the list with only 7 months and 21 days. J-hope comes in second at 2 years and 5 months, and RM is third at 3 years and 8 months. Then came IU, August D, and V aka Tehyung.

In the meantime, BTS returned for another special run BTS episode, in which Jungkook convinces the Bangtannies to practise “Fly Yoga.” The teaser depicts the BTS members practising “flying yoga,” also known as aerial yoga, at a yoga studio. They were balancing on a silk hammock that was dangling and experimenting with different movements. The members appeared to be struggling to keep up, but Jungkook was glad to be there.

Jeon Jungkook, the maknae or the youngest member of the group, has always been considered as one of the most popular and globally recognized K-pop stars. The successful vocalist has released three solo tracks under BTS: “Begin” in 2016, “Euphoria” in 2018, and “My Time” in 2020, all of which have charted on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart. He also sang the soundtrack for the BTS-based webtoon 7Fates: Chakho, titled “Stay Alive”. In 2022, he was featured on the single “Left and Right” by American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth, which peaked at number 22 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
