Jungkook of BTS, the world-famous K-Pop sensation, recently made his solo stage debut, as he performed his newly released single, “Dreamers” at the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony. Jungkook’s first solo performance, which was witnessed by over a billion viewers, was well received, as the singer received attention for his confident stage presence and strong vocals.

On the same day, ‘Jung Kook – South Korean singer’ was ranked first in ‘FIFA’-related topics around the world, showing a high level of interest of about 5000%.

In addition, ‘when will Jungkook perform in Qatar’ and ‘when is Jungkook performing in Qatar’ were ranked 1st and 2nd in the top related search terms, demonstrating how the world paid keen attention to Jungkook’s performance at the opening ceremony of the World Cup in Qatar.

Jungkook is the first ever K-pop singer and idol member to participate in the opening ceremony of the World Cup and be part of the official soundtrack as an individual artist, not BTS, proving the strength of his solo k-pop star image in the world.

The song first launched straight at No. 1 on both the global and European iTunes music charts. It also became the fastest world cup song to reach #1 on iTunes in the US.
