Pokémon Go is an augmented reality (AR) mobile game that was released in 2016 by Niantic in partnership with Nintendo and The Pokémon Company for iOS and Android devices. The game, which is a component of the Pokémon series, is the result of a collaboration between Niantic, Nintendo, and The Pokémon Company. It uses GPS-enabled mobile devices to identify, capture, train, and battle virtual monsters known as Pokémon, which appear in the player’s real-world location. The game is free to play; it employs a freemium business model in conjunction with local advertising and offers in-app payments for additional in-game stuff. The game began with approximately 150 Pokémon SPecies, which had grown to approximately 700 by 2021.

The BD & SP event in Pokemon Go has come, commemorating the introduction of Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl with a new Collection Challenge and some rare Field Research activities. Niantic often celebrates the debut of new Pokemon games with unique events in Pokemon Go, and the highly anticipated Gen 4 remakes Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl on Nintendo Switch are no exception. The BD & SP event will be divided into two segments, each with its own set of features. Along with a new Raid Boss schedule, new costumes for the Gen 4 starters combine to form a themed Collection Challenge.

After collecting all of these dressed Pokemon, you’ll be awarded with a Frosslass encounter, 1000XP, and 3000 Stardust. The advancement will also be shown on your Elite Collector Medal. Pokemon wearing Lucas’s hat will be available in the wild during Part 1 of the BD & SP event, while Pokemon wearing Dawn’s hat will be available as Field Research awards. Part 2 is the polar opposite.
