“River Where The Moon Rises” is a historical romance drama.
Popular actress Kim SoHyun and actor Ji Soo are taking the lead roles. She previously acted in dramas such as “Who Are You: School 2015” and “Love Alarm”. The actress is experienced with historical dramas (“Moon Embracing the Sun”, “The Emperor: Owner of the Mask” and “The Tale of Nokdu”).
Ji Soo and Kim SoHyun already acted together in the drama “Page Turner”. Ji Soo also acted in the hit historical drama “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” and in dramas such as “Strong Girl BongSoon” and “My First First Love”.
Kang HaNeul is taking on a special supporting character (appearance). He also already acted with Ji Soo in “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” and starred in “Misaeng” and “When The Camellia Blooms”. Lee JiHoon (“Legend of the Blue Sea”, “The Hymn of Death”, “Rookie Historian Goo HaeRyung”) and Choi YuHwa (“Life”, “My Dangerous Wife”) are also lead actors.
The drama will be recreating the famous Goguryeo traditional story of PyeongGang and OnDal.
The director Yoon SangHo (“Kingmaker: The Change of Destiny”, “Different Dreams”, “Saimdang, Memoir of Colors”) and writer Han JiHoon (“Last”, “Night Light”, “Dr. Jin”, “Time Between Dog and Wolf”, “Woman of 9.9 Billion”) are in charge.
