Ronda Rousey Reveals About Her Personal Favourites: She Is A Big Anime Fan 

Ronda Rousey might be a badass in the ring, but she’s a total nerd outside of it. The WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion is an avid gamer who has her own gaming livestream on YouTube called The Baddest Stream On The Planet. She also gave the voice of Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat 11 and stated that she has been a fan of the franchise her entire life.

Aside from video games, Rousey is a big anime and manga fan. She revealed in a tweet that she spent a lot of time during the pandemic reading manga series like Fullmetal Alchemist and Kaijumax. Rousey even solicited recommendations from her Twitter followers, with titles such as Hellsing and Spy x Family making the cut. Whenever it comes to anime, one of her favourite shows is Pokémon. During a Reddit discussion session, Rousey revealed several details about her relationship with the series.

She stated she used to moderate an anime-video game forum, and that her favourite Pokémon is Mew. Dragon Ball Z is one of Ronda Rousey’s favourite anime series. She deems herself a huge fan and recalls recording episodes of the show on VHS when she was younger. Rousey went so far as to say that her cartoon crush is Vegeta, the prince of all Saiyans. She even expressed interest in seeing another Dragon Ball Z film during an interview with Rotten Tomatoes.

The thing is, she expressed a strong desire for another Dragon Ball Z film. Except for the Android saga, in which I would really like to be Android 18. Her obsession with Dragon Ball even made it onto WWE television. Rousey was seen wearing a unique blue leather coat with a C on the sleeve during a segment with Liv Morgan and Natalya on the July 8 edition of SmackDown.

Trunks’ jacket from the series serves as the gear, and also the C stands for his corporation, Capsule Corporation. Some consider Rousey to be a down-to-earth person behind the scenes, and her interests and passions have allowed people to connect with her. Rousey continues to interact with her fans on social media and YouTube, where she shares her love of gaming and anime.
