Ryan Gosling Is Rumored To Join Marvel Studios Thunderbolts As A Villain

According to some reports, it’s known that Marvel is finding its villain for a newly announced movie. We all know Thunderbolts is now in development. The cast has already been announced at the D23 expo. But as of now, it is not known who will play the antagonist in the film. Thunderbolts is set to arrive in theatres on July 26th, 2024.

The supervillain squad members include Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster, Hannah John Kamen as Ghost, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker..

As we all know Marvel tries its best to pick up great talent from the industry to play its iconic characters. Reports suggest that Marvel is eyeing Ryan Gosling to play the villain in the Thunderbolts. According to Patreon’s account, it’s known that Marvel is looking for actors between the ages of 30-50.

The character is described as a “conflicted and powerful villain.” As of now, no confirmation is given from Marvel Studios about casting the Gray Man Actor. Other details related to the plot and cast are under wraps. It’s also reported that Florence Pugh’s character Yelena Belova will be leading Marvel’s Suicide Squad.

Ryan Gosling Will Return In Gray Man’s Sequel & Spinoff

A few months back, Netflix posted a photo of Ryan Gosling in a Red Suit with a little greyish effect on him and grey background.


The caption read, ” The Gray Man Universe is expanding! A sequel to The Gray Man is now in development with star Ryan Gosling, directors Joe & Anthony Russo & co-writer Stephen McFeely set to return!”

Along with this news, it was also mentioned that a spin-off of The Gray Man is also in work by screenwriters Paul Wernick & Rhett Reese (Deadpool ). They didn’t mention if other actors like Chris Evans, Ana De Armas & Dhanush would be reprising the role or not. Ryan Gosling is confirmed to appear in the sequel.
