Soul Eater is a Japanese anime series written by Akatsuki Yamatoya and directed by Takuya Igarashi. It is based on the manga series of the same title written by Atsushi Okubo. Bones, Aniplex, Dentsu, Media Factory, and TV Tokyo, produced it. Yoshiyuki Ito designed the character design for the anime series, which has 51 episodes. It was released on 7 April 2008 and continued until 30 March 2009. It broadcasted every Monday at 6 pm on TXN (TV Tokyo) network.

Micah Solusod as Soul Eater Evans
Micah Solusod works for Funimation as a voice actor. Soul Evans, the title character in Soul Eater, is his most notable anime role. Micah made his acting debut in Blassreiter as Malek Yildrim Werner, followed by roles as Toma Kamijo in A Certain Magical Index, Yuichiro Hyakuya in Seraph of the End, Yuno in Black Clover, and Yuri Plisetsky in Yuri on Ice. In addition, Micah is a freelance artist that uploads on DeviantArt when he’s not doing voice work. He also contributes to the Ties That Bind webcomic series.

Laura Bailey as Maka Albarn
Laura Bailey is a voice actress from the United States. She made her anime debut as Kid Trunks in the Funimation dub of Dragon Ball Z when she was 18 years old. Emily / Glitter Lucky in Glitter Force, Tohru Honda in Fruits Basket, Lust in Fullmetal Alchemist and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Shin-Chan’s character in the Funimation dub, and Maka Albarn in Soul Eater are among her other anime roles. While working on Dragon Ball Z, voice actor Kent Williams noticed Laura in one of her undergraduate plays and urged her to audition for Funimation. Kid Trunks was her first significant part on Dragon Ball Z, which she played with a gruff voice.
Brittney Karbowski as Black Star
Brittney Marie Karbowski is an American voice actor who has worked for Funimation, ADV Films, and Sentai Filmworks on English-language translations of Japanese anime series. In Houston, Texas, Brittney began her acting career in theatre shows such as Little Shop of Horrors, Seussical, and Pirates of Penzance. A director from ADV Films discovered her while playing Janet in a local stage production of The Rocky Horror Show. In 2004, she started the anime industry when she requested to be an extra in Gantz’s series.

Todd Haberkorn as Death Kid
Todd Haberkorn is an American voice actor and director who has worked on anime, movies, and video games. While working in theatre, Haberkorn joined Funimation as a voice actor, appearing in minor roles in One Piece, Black Cat, and Peach Girl. Since then, he has voiced characters in Fairy Tail, Hetalia: Axis Powers, Ouran High School Host Club, D.Gray-man, Death the Kid in Soul Eater, Rosario + Vampire, xxxHolic, and Suzuka.
