Taehyung, aka V of BTS, Becomes The First Idol In History To Surpass 4.5 Billion Votes On Fanplus

Kim Taehyung, aka V from the globally popular boy group BTS, continues to make and break new records of popularity every other day. In his most recent achievement, the singer has become the first ever idol to reach 4.5 Billion votes on the popular K-pop fan community Fanplus. The platform allows fans to register votes for their favorite K-pop artists. By voting fans get the chance to help their favorite idols win exciting rewards.

By winning the latest voting competition, Taehyung will now receive 7 days ad on NewYork Times Square for his birthday on 30 December. Fans are super happy after winning the voting and are filling the social media with positive comments, congratulating Taehyung on achievements “he isn’t even aware of.”

Kim Taehyung, better known by his stage name V, is a member of the biggest boy band in the world, BTS (Bangtan Soneyondan). After Jeon Jungkook, he is the group member that is the youngest. It’s amazing how far he’s come from being the kid of a farmer to becoming an international icon. In addition to creating the band’s most well-known solo hits, he also benefits from the enormous solo stans fan base.

V has released three solo tracks under BTS’ name: “Stigma” in 2016, “Singularity” in 2018, and “Inner Child” in 2020, all of which have charted on South Korea’s Gaon Digital Chart. In addition to his career as a BTS group member, the vocalist has also released several self-produced solo songs.

V released his first independent song, “Scenery”, on January 30, 2019, through the BTS SoundCloud page. He then released songs like “Winter Bear”, “Sweet Night”, and “Snow Flower”. His 2021 release, “Christmas Tree” debuted at number 79 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned V his first solo entry on the chart.
