As we wait for the highly anticipated premiere of the drama and just in time for Valentine’s Day, we’re looking back at some of the amazing actors that Park MinYoung has worked with, giving us undoubtedly unrealistic standards about love and romance.
2010 – “Sungkyunkwan Scandal”
In the iconic historical drama “Sungkyunkwan Scandal”, Park MinYoung is in a love triangle with Park YooChun‘s Lee SunJoon and Yoo AhIn‘s Moon JaeShin. The various complexities of the story created a convincing and heartwarming romance that stuck with fans years after the drama ended.
2011 – “City Hunter”
Adapted from the popular manga of the same name, “City Hunter” was easily one of the most popular dramas at the time of its release. Starring Park MinYoung and Lee MinHo in the leading roles, the drama featured a stunning and unforgettable romance that still enchants viewers to this day. We need to see Park MinYoung and Lee MinHo together on screen again!
2012 – “Time Slip Dr. Jin”
In 2012, Park MinYoung established herself as a rising star with “Time Slip Dr. Jin”. In this drama, she played the dual roles of Yoo MiNa and Hong YoungRae, alongside Song SeungHeon who played the eponymous Dr. Jin. The two have extraordinary chemistry that transcends space and time, quite literally!
2014 – “Healer”
A drama that never gets old no matter how many times you watch it, “Healer” is definitely one of Park MinYoung’s most prominent works. In this drama, the actress stars alongside Ji ChangWook and gives us the dreamiest romance we could have asked for.
2015 – “Remember: War of the Son”
In 2015, Park MinYoung played the multifaceted role of Lee InAh alongside Yoo SeungHo‘s Seo JinWoo in “Remember: War of the Son”. Not only was this couple visually stunning but also their story was deeply moving, which added to their emotional impact.
2017 – “Queen For Seven Days”
Park MinYoung plays Shin ChaeKyung in “Queen For Seven Days”, who is caught up in a love triangle between two brothers, Yi Yeok and Yi Yoong, played by Yeon WooJin and Lee DongGun respectively. This drama has to be one of Park MinYoung’s finest works and the nuanced brilliance with which she plays her character is truly impressive.
2018 – “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim”
In 2018, Park MinYoung appeared in the iconic office romance drama “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim”, which saw millions of viewers from all across the world rooting for our leading couple. In this drama, Park MinYoung was once again in something of a love triangle between two brothers: Lee YoungJoon (played by Park SeoJoon) and Lee SungYeon (played by Lee TaeHwan). However, it is no surprise that Park SeoJoon and Park MinYoung were always the OTP.
In “Her Private Life”, Park MinYoung takes on the role of Sung DeokMi, an art gallery curator by day and fangirl by night. While she thinks that she only has eyes for her White Ocean bias Cha ShiAhn, played by One, she quickly falls for Ryan Gold, played by Kim JaeWook whereas Nam EunGi, her childhood friend, played by Ahn BoHyun, dotes on her. Park MinYoung’s dynamic with both her male leads in this drama was heartening, which made the drama even more entertaining.
Park MinYoung plays Mok HaeWon, a spirited yet lonely young woman with a dark past in “When The Weather Is Fine” and accompanying her is Seo KangJoon, who plays the quiet, reserved, and patient Im EunSeob. There are subtle traces of a love triangle here too, with none other than Kim YoungDae‘s Oh YoungWoo, which make for some heart-fluttering moments as well!
