The results for The Voice season 22’s Top 16 Live Playoffs are out. The live performances had the audience voting for them and the contestants with the least number of votes were in the elimination round.
The episode also saw the contestants who will be advancing to the Top 13. After the voting, the contestants with the most votes would automatically be proceeding to the Top 13. The coaches also got a chance to save one artist from the remaining two contestants in every team.
Now, the eliminated contestants performed for an instant save Wildcard entry. And the top most voted contested will be a part of the Top 13 while the other 3 will be eliminated. The contestants facing elimination included Bryce Leatherwood from Team Blake, Sasha Hurtado from Team Legend, Kevin from Team Gwen, and Kate Kalvach from Team Camila.
All four of them performed a song of their choice as they aimed for the Instant Save Wildcard. The artist who was saved by the most votes was Bryce Leatherwood. Fans were happy with his win but some were disappointed. Many of them took to social media to express their opinion.
Users claimed that compared to Kate and Kevin, Bryce only sounded generic while others added he was not good. They claimed to be confused with the votes as fans of Bryce also claimed that they like him but the performances of other contestants were better.
The first team to have received the results was Team Blake. Bodie was the first contestant who was saved from Blake’s team followed by Brayden Lape.
