TOP 50 Kpop Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings in November 2023

On November 12, the Korean Business Research Institute published the brand reputation rankings for the most popular Kpop female groups in November 2023. This month, NewJeans, IVE, (G)I-DLE, BLACKPINK, and TWICE secured the top five positions in the Kpop girl group brand rankings. November 2023 Top Kpop Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings

The Korean Business Research Institute has conducted a comprehensive analysis of consumer behavior specifically for Kpop female groups. They used 53,579,831 data points from October 12 to November 12, 2023. The analysis considered consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes. Additionally, the institute obtained the brand reputation index for each group, which ultimately determined the rankings. However, there was an 8.04% increase in data points compared to the 49,593,553 recorded in October.

Accordingly, NewJeans, IVE, (G)I-DLE, BLACKPINK, and TWICE emerged as the top-ranking Kpop female groups for November 2023 in terms of popularity.

Top 5 Popular Kpop Girl Groups

1. NewJeans

For the fifth consecutive month, NewJeans maintained its top position in the Kpop girl group brand reputation rankings for November 2023. Link analysis discovered that popular related terms for the group included “surpass,” “perform,” and “advertise.” Additionally, keyword analysis revealed popular phrases such as “Billboard,” “League of Legends Worlds,” and “Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism’s Commendation” associated with the group. NewJeans also received an impressive positivity-negativity score of 87.07 percent.

Furthermore, NewJeans achieved significant success with a participation index of 328,916, a media index of 1,032,793, a communication index of 1,336,007, and a community index of 2,033,631 this month. Consequently, the group’s brand reputation index reached 4,731,348. Unfortunately, compared to the brand reputation index of 5,661,944 recorded last October, NewJeans experienced a 16% decline.

2. IVE

In an impressive feat, IVE made history as the first Kpop group to achieve a perfect all-kill with three songs in a year and secured second place. This month, the group obtained a participation index of 408,068, a media index of 786,424, a communication index of 1,790,202, and a community index of 1,646,809. As a result, IVE’s brand reputation index rose to 4,631,502, marking a significant 10.07% increase compared to the 4,207,863 recorded last October.

3. (G)I-DLE

(G)I-DLE, nominated at the Melon Music Awards 2023, made a significant leap to third place this month. Additionally, the group achieved impressive results with a participation index of 54,944, a media index of 982,191, a communication index of 1,055,863, and a community index of 1,906,302. As a result, (G) I-DLE’s brand reputation index soared to 3,999,299, marking a remarkable 84.84% increase compared to the brand reputation index of 2,163,655 recorded last October.

4. BLACKPINK

After BLACKPINK’s final concert, “Born Pink World Tour,” the group has not engaged in any group activities. However, there have been reports of Jisoo being in talks for the “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” movie. Additionally, Rosé will release “Season’s Greetings: From HANK & ROSÉ To You [2024].”

Further, the group earned a participation index of 186,592, a media index of 962,341, a communication index of 612,977, and a community index of 2,187,049 this month. As a result, the group earned a brand reputation index of 3,948,959. Compared to last October’s brand reputation index of 3,674,425, it rose 7.47%.​

5. TWICE

Kpop girl group TWICE, who recently celebrated their 8th anniversary, dropped to fifth place this month. They earned a participation index of 81,532, a media index of 979,784, a communication index of 397,004, and a community index of 1,761,078. Therefore, their brand reputation index for this month reached 3,219,398, which marks a 13.66% increase compared to October’s index of 2,832,432.
