  • In the search field, type ‘disc cleanup’ and press enter.

  • A new window will pop up, asking you to choose a hard drive.

  • Click “directX shader cache” and “temporary files” after you’ve picked your HDD.

  • To begin the disc cleanup, click the ‘ok’ button.

6) Update Windows to the Latest Version

You should also update the WIndows to the latest version to fix the crashing issues. You can do this by selecting the Check for updates on the Update and Security on the Window settings. 

7) Close the Background Running Tasks

Select the unnecessarily running tasks in the Process tab of Task Manager and click End Task to close them from running in the background.

8) Performing Clean Boot 

  • To enter clean boot mode, right-click on the Windows icon and select “Run,” then type “msconfig” and press “OK.”

  • When the System Configuration window appears, select the “General” tab.

  • Simply select the radio button next to “Selective startup” from the drop-down menu.

  • The box next to “Load system services” must be checked.

  • Then, in the “Services” section, select “Hide all Microsoft services” and click “Disable all”.

  • Simply click “Apply” and then “OK” and it will turn off all of your computer’s third-party services. 

If a restart window appears, select “Restart immediately” to reboot your computer in safe mode. 

9) Reinstalling And Updating Total War: Warhammer 3

Sometimes, uninstalling and reinstalling the game is also a good move to fix the issue of crashing. If the game has any new update,  update the game to the latest version to overcome these issues. 

10) Verify the Game Files On Steam

The already existing corrupted files can be removed and Checked by verifying the Game Files when you are playing on Steam. You can do this on Steam by

Total War: Warhammer III, like the other games in the Total War series, combines turn-based strategy and real-time tactical gameplay. Players take turns marching troops around the battlefield and controlling villages over the campaign. Players negotiate with and fight against AI-controlled factions. When armies engage, the battle takes place in real time. In addition, the game will include a custom fighting option in which players may create their own real-time conflicts as well as online multiplayer bouts. Owners of the first two games’ races will be able to play them in multiplayer in the third game, and a merged global map will be developed for them, akin to the “Mortal Empires” campaign in Total War: Warhammer II.
