Keke Palmer is making a big splash for creators in the digital space with her newly launched KeyTV network. The first series to debut from the multihyphenate’s platform is “Heaux & Tell,” a scripted show that “follows the misadventures of three best friends (Akeishein Wells as Cash, Bree Webber as Eden, and Mykal Monroe as Noni) who dive headfirst into provocative and ridiculous new experiences” — and POPSUGAR has an exclusive look at episode two.
“We wanted to get into what satisfaction actually means, wherever you can get it because we all deserve it.”
Palmer kicks off the episode with a “Law & Order”-like introduction before diving into the relatable dilemmas of its main stars. “Sex, sexual orientation, and sexuality are considered especially taboo,” she says. “These stories are navigated by an elite squad during intimate moments of truth and liberation — better known as ‘Heaux & Tell.’ These are their stories.”
“Heaux & Tell,” led by a diverse cast of talent and creators, offers a “real take on sex, sexuality, and sisterhood for this generation” with its “spicy characters and spicier conversation,” according to Palmer. She adds: “Sexuality and pleasure is always put on the back burner for women, and in this second episode, we make it known that Eden, Cash, and Noni are prioritizing what sexy looks like for them. At home, at work, with friends, or even with yourself, we wanted to get into what satisfaction actually means, wherever you can get it because we all deserve it — even if your Libra moon is messing with you.”
The seven-episode series is created and written by Nakia Stephens with Palmer on board as an executive producer. New episodes of “Heaux & Tell” premiere every Thursday on KeyTV’s YouTube channel. Watch episode two above.
