Watch: “Soulmate” Starring Kim Da Mi, Jeon So Nee, And Byun Woo Seok Confirms March Release Date + Drops Heartwarming Trailer And Posters

Kim Da Mi, Jeon So Nee, and Byun Woo Seok’s upcoming film “Soulmate” has unveiled new teasers!

A remake of the popular Chinese film of the same name, “Soulmate” will follow the joy, sorrow, love, and longing that two best friends experience together after instantly clicking during their teenage years.

Kim Da Mi and Jeon So Nee star as best friends Mi So and Ha Eun, while Byun Woo Seok plays Jin Woo, the man who becomes inextricably entangled in both of their lives at the same time.

Ahead of the film’s March premiere, “Soulmate” has released individual teaser posters that capture the characters’ sweet and peaceful days of youth. With all three characters looking into the distance with soft smiles as they listen to music and think fondly of someone, each of the posters read, “Do you sometimes think about me too?”

The new teaser shows Mi So, Ha Eun, and Jin Woo’s shining youth and their journey of growing up together. From hopping on a motorcycle to skip class and enjoying some instant noodles at the beach, there’s never a dull moment for this trio. The clip reads, “We were brightest at 17 years old, and I miss you at 27 years old,” leaving fans curious about how their friendship changes with age.

While watching Mi So have a blast on stage singing her heart out, Ha Eun tells Jin Woo with a big smile, “Sometimes I’m jealous of Mi So. She’s carefree.” Later, Mi So asks Jin Woo what he likes about Ha Eun. He nonchalantly replies, “I like everything. What do you like about Ha Eun?”

Mi So excitedly fills Ha Eun in on her plans to take the Trans-Siberian Railway and visit Lake Baikal before inviting Ha Eun to go with her. But Ha Eun responds in a dejected tone, “You know I can’t ride airplanes.” The two compromise and take a separate boat trip and enjoy themselves at an aquarium.

The end of the teaser features heartwarming clips of Mi So, Ha Eun, and Jin Woo while the caption reads, “Whose name do you think of?” While the three are on a hike, Ha Eun happily calls out to Mi So and snaps a photo the second she turns around. Ha Eun adorably explains, “Because you looked happy.”
