Who Is The New Batman 2022?

Ben Affleck was cast as Batman in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) in 2013, and development began shortly after. Affleck agreed to direct, produce, co-write, and appear in The Batman, but then stepped out due to his concerns about the film. Reeves took over and completely rewrote the plot, erasing any references to the DCEU. He drew influence from 1970s films and comics such as “Year One” (1987) and “Ego” (1987) to explore Batman’s investigative side further than prior films (2000). In May 2021, Robert Pattinson was cast to replace Affleck, with more casting taking place in late 2019. The main filming took place in the United Kingdom and Chicago from January 2020 to March 2021.

From 1966 until 1968, the popular campy show aired on ABC, and a feature-length film adaptation directed by Leslie H. Martinson was produced in 1966. As his Batman character, West produced a novelty song called Miranda in 1966.

Michael Keaton – Batman(1989), Batman Returns(1992), The Flash(2022), Tim Burton cast Keaton once again as the eponymous comic book character in 1989’s Batman, giving him a big boost to his career. However, both reviewers and moviegoers praised Keaton’s portrayal in the role, and Batman went on to become one of the most popular pictures of 1989. Keaton later reprised the character in the highly praised sequel Batman Returns (1992), which was also a critical hit. He was said to be upset with the screenplay authorized by Joel Schumacher, the new director.

Christian Bale – The Dark Knight Trilogy (2005–2012), Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins, a remake of the Batman film series, featured Bale as American billionaire Bruce Wayne and his heroic moniker Batman. Bale acquired weight and muscle for the role, weighing 220 pounds, after losing weight for The Machinist (100 kg). He received weapons training as well as Wing Chun Kung Fu and the Keysi Fighting Method. In June 2005, Batman Begins was released in the United States. Bale won the MTV Movie Award for Best Hero for his performance. Bale reprised his role as Batman in Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins sequel The Dark Knight, which won critical praise and became the fourth picture to gross over $1 billion worldwide when it was released in July 2008. Nolan’s Batman film series, dubbed the Dark Knight trilogy, is one of the highest-grossing film franchises.

Ben Affleck – DC Extended Universe (2016–2022), Given Affleck’s burgeoning reputation as a director, The New York Times’ Dave Itzkoff called his choice to play Batman in the 2016 blockbuster picture Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice “a pretty befuddling choice.” Despite the fact that the casting news sparked outrage among fans, Affleck’s performance received a great response. Later that year, Affleck returned his role as Batman in Suicide Squad, making a brief cameo appearance (2016). In 2017, Affleck reprised his role as Batman in the blockbuster film Justice League.
