WWE Is Planning A War Games Main Event For The Survivor Series

WWE will introduce two WarGames matches at the marquee Survivor Series premium live event on Saturday, November 26 for the first time ever. It was previously announced that Bianca Belair, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, and two partners will compete in the women’s WarGames match against Damage CTRL, Nikki Cross, and a partner. The men’s five-on-five match appears to be heading in the right direction.

The Brawling Brutes interrupted The Bloodline in the final segment of the November 11 episode of SmackDown. Sheamus made his first appearance since October 21, when he was injured during an attack by The Usos, Solo Sikoa, & Sami Zayn. The reunited trio attacked the ring quickly, as The Bloodline was missing Zayn for the evening due to “private” issues.

WarGames contest

Because The Bloodline still had the numerical advantage, Drew McIntyre rolled down to even the odds, and the show got cancelled in the middle of the brawl. With only 2 weeks till Survivor Series, it it seems WWE is preparing Reigns, Usos, Sikoa, & Zayn to face McIntyre, Sheamus, Ridge Holland, Butch, and an undetermined partner. The match has not yet been announced officially as of this writing.

If WWE goes in that direction, the men’s WarGames contest will most likely be the PLE’s main event due to Reigns’ status as the firm’s face. After defeating Logan Paul at WWE Crown Jewel, he recently passed the 800-day mark as WWE Universal Champion and currently has no challenger lined up. The Survivor Series is expected to be the year’s final PLE before the Royal Rumble on January 28, 2023.

Ronda Rousey vs. Shotzi

The Survivor Series premium live event on November 26 has been confirmed to feature SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey vs. Shotzi. On the 11/11 WWE SmackDown, Shotzi defeated Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Sonya Deville, Lacey Evans, & Xi Li in a Six-Pack Challenge to become Rousey’s next challenger. Rodriguez appeared to gain the upper hand at one point by physically monopolising her opponents on the outside, including a nasty powerbomb on Li.

Morgan, on the other hand, knocked out both Rodriguez and Deville with a big splash, leaving only Evans and Shotzi to battle in the ring. Shotzi took advantage of the situation, pinning Evans with the Never Wake Up for the pinfall victory. Emma congratulated Shotzi in the backstage area after her victory. Shayna Baszler would cut in, informing Shotzi that she had just won a beating of a lifetime, not really a title shot against Rousey.
