WWE Survivor Series Title Challenger Is Revealed For Ronda Rousey

The Survivor Series premium live event on November 26 has been confirmed to feature SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey vs. Shotzi. On the 11/11 WWE SmackDown, Shotzi defeated Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Sonya Deville, Lacey Evans, & Xi Li in a Six-Pack Challenge to become Rousey’s next challenger. Rodriguez appeared to gain the upper hand at one point by physically monopolising her opponents on the outside, including a nasty powerbomb on Li.

Morgan, on the other hand, knocked out both Rodriguez and Deville with a big splash, leaving only Evans and Shotzi to battle in the ring. Shotzi took advantage of the situation, pinning Evans with the Never Wake Up for the pinfall victory. Emma congratulated Shotzi in the backstage area after her victory. Shayna Baszler would cut in, informing Shotzi that she had just won a beating of a lifetime, not really a title shot against Rousey.

Baszler and Rousey

Shotzi responded by promising to surprise Ronda and also the entire world at Survivor Series. Baszler after which asked Shotzi to turn around and say those words to Rousey before putting her to sleep with the Kirifuda Clutch. Baszler and Rousey, who are known to be close buddies in real life, have teamed up on WWE TV in recent weeks, with both women pressuring each other to channel their inner killers instead of attempting to please the WWE Universe.

Later, WWE revealed a singles match between Baszler & Shotzi for the following week. Rousey will almost certainly be ringside for the fight. Shotzi’s Survivor Series match will be his first-ever singles title defence on WWE programming, which includes NXT and other brands. She only held gold from April to May 2021, all through Shotzi and Ember Moon’s brief reign as NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Rousey Is A Big Anime Fan

Ronda Rousey might be a badass in the ring, but she’s a total nerd outside of it. The WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion is an avid gamer who has her own gaming livestream on YouTube called The Baddest Stream On The Planet. She also gave the voice of Sonya Blade in Mortal Kombat 11 and stated that she has been a fan of the franchise her entire life.

Aside from video games, Rousey is a big anime and manga fan. She revealed in a tweet that she spent a lot of time during the pandemic reading manga series like Fullmetal Alchemist and Kaijumax. Rousey even solicited recommendations from her Twitter followers, with titles such as Hellsing and Spy x Family making the cut. Whenever it comes to anime, one of her favourite shows is Pokémon. During a Reddit discussion session, Rousey revealed several details about her relationship with the series.
